... not only during Advent. August is the time when the greylag geese and cranes start to gather. Some of you may think back to last fall, to the time when thousands of cranes made a stopover in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft on their migration. In case you've forgotten, the photo will help you remember.

For your planning: The Kranorama will open for you again at the beginning of September. We will announce the exact date in time. If you want to see a particularly large number of cranes, come and visit us between the end of September and mid-October, when 50 to 80,000 cranes are resting here at the same time.
