Early returnees

We received numerous observations of migrating cranes at the weekend. This is also reflected in the small map created with ornitho. The good weather conditions with high pressure and a tailwind were the trigger!

It continues - strong crane migration also over Luxembourg and Belgium - and also over Germany many cranes continued to migrate, which were mainly reported from NRW and Hesse (29.01.24)! Today it could go a little further. These are mainly cranes that are travelling quickly to their breeding grounds to occupy their territories!
