Finally the time has come again
The local cranes are gathering in larger groups. And in the next few days, more cranes from Scandinavia will come over the Baltic Sea to rest in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft.
Our volunteers have already spread a few sacks of maize on the meadows in front of the observation center Kranorama. The birds of happiness will certainly discover this in the next few days. The interior of the Kranorama is also bustling with activity. People are cleaning, repairing and setting up.
Then everything will be ready for the opening of the Kranorama on Saturday, 9 September, at 9:00 a.m. and we can finally welcome all crane friends again.
During the autumn rest, the barrier-free observation station is open daily from 9:00 to 18:00. Crane rangers will be on hand to provide expert knowledge and observation techniques. Enjoy this unique natural spectacle.
The team of the NABU Crane Centre and its many helpers say: "WELCOME!
