GPS cranes have started migration

On the 18th of September our GPS cranes Wölkchen (3127) and Sunny (3129) have started their autumn migration. Both cranes are males from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Now they are resting in Lower Saxony (Diepholzer Moorniederung). We will see soon, if they continue migration to France or Spain or if they prefer to spend their winter in Germany.
