Opening of KRANICHWELTEN on 6 September 2025

The new international NABU experience centre KRANICHWELTEN will open on 6 September 2025. It is located across the street from KRANORAMA between Günz and Buschenhagen.

Europe's largest crane centre is all about the fascinating ‘birds of happiness’. The modern, interactive exhibition covering 500 m² invites young and old alike to discover the world of cranes.

Visitors can learn exciting facts about migration routes, habitats and crane conservation in multimedia areas featuring VR animation, a sound shower of the calls of all 15 crane species worldwide, a digital quiz, craft tables and a crane film.

The 20,000 m² outdoor area also offers the opportunity to explore different habitats. Here you will find walk-in insect and moorland worlds with comfortable seating and places to linger.
